It's been five years since rapper Cam'ron released his sixth studio album "Crime Pays". The former Diplomats member will be releasing his last studio album "Purple Haze 2" in 2015.

Cam'ron made his retirement announcement on Instagram.

"Fresh off da flight.. To see my brother..," he wrote. "HUD 6 told me lastnite.. #AChangeGoneCome last album.. #PurpleHaze2 this summer.. It's been fun.. But HUD said we got other things to do. #Hud6"

Miss Info caught up with Cam and he confirmed his plans to retire from rapping and focus on other business ventures.

"Yeah, It’s a wrap. Time to move on," he told Miss Info. "Movies and clothing are doing really well for me right now. I’m helping Mendeecees [Yandy’s husband from Love & Hip Hop NY] with his album. And…I’m building a club in Vegas."

Cam'ron played in films like "Paper Soldiers" and "State Property 2" but he's mostly known for his role as Rico in "Paid In Full" alongside Mekhi Phifer.

We wish Cam'ron the best of luck in his acting and fashion career!
