Taraji P. Henson & Terrence Howard Back Together In New Drama Series

There's a new drama series called "Empire" coming to television featuring an all-star cast including Gabourey Sidibe, Macy Gray, Malik Yoba, supermodel Naomi Campbell and Taraji P. Henson as Cookie Lyon.

"Empire" is produced by Lee Daniels. It's a family drama that focusing around hip hop. 

Also featured in the drama series is Terrence Howard who will be playing the role of Lucious Lyon, the CEO of a record label. He will also be playing Taraji's, ex-husband. 

Henson and Howard starred in the Grammy nominated film "Hustle & Flow" together. They also hosted "The Soul Train Awards" together a couple times.

Like 50 Cent's "Power", Lee Daniels new project "Empire" should run high in ratings due to it's story line. Hip Hop is the highest running genre in music and the show will bring in plenty viewers.
