50 Cent Ordered To Pay Almost $16.2 Million To Headphone Company

It's been reported that rapper 50 Cent has been ordered to pay close to $16.2 million dollars to a headphone company he invested in.

According to reports, 50 invested $1 million to start a headphone line with Sleek. 50 decided to take another route by investing with another company called Sync.

Sleek, headphone company filed a lawsuit against the rapper/actor in 2013. 50 was accused of misappropriating trade secrets, breaching his fiduciary duty owed to Sleek, participating in a civil conspiracy, breaching his confidentiality agreement with Sleek and being unjustly enriched.

Sleek also accused 50 and his assistants of pulling private confidential information off their website. 50 counter sued Sleek saying they fraudulently induced him into entering an investment with them.

After going over both sides 50 Cent was ordered to pay a total of $16,181,578, including $4,488,331 in fees.
