Jay-Z Sued For Using The Word "Oh?"

It's normal when you hear a rapper is being sued for using someone else's sound in their music but who would've thought one could get sued for using words!

According to reports, in 2013 TufAmerica record label filed a lawsuit against rapper Jay-Z  for the use of the word "Oh" in the song "Run This Town" featuring Rihanna. He has been accused of using the word, as well as, samples of the music from a song called "Hook & Sling-Part 1" by Eddie Bo.

The record label has also sued Kanye West over the same track. West was accused of using samples of the song for his track called "Lost in the World" from the "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" album.

In response to the lawsuit Jay has filed a motion dismissing the record labels claiming that he only used the word "Oh" in the beginning of the song and he denied using any of the music.

Obviously, TufAmerica feels that due to the monopoly of the word that they should be able to prevent people from recording usage of the word.

What? This is ludacris! Are you serious? Everybody using the word "Oh". What is the big deal? Using someone else's music without permission is one thing but you don't need anyone's permission to use the word "Oh".

Unless blacks can get compensated when opposite races use the word nigga then that lawsuit should be null and void!
