What Did Drake Have To Say About Kendrick Lamar's Verse On "Control?"

There's been a lot of buzz going on about Kendrick Lamar's verse on Big Sean's "Control". Some rappers have responded to Lamar on dis track while others have expressed their criticism via Twitter and other social networks.

Recently, YMCMB Drake spoke on Lamar's verse during an interview with Elliott Wilson of CRWN. Drake said he lost respect for the sentiment of the verse where he claims to be king of New York.

"He didn't come in there on some wild, "I'm in New York, f**k everybody. I almost wish he had come in there on that s**t because I kind of lost a little respect for the sentiment of the verse," Drake said.

"If it's really f**k everybody then it needs to be f**k everybody. It can't just be halfway," he added.

The "Coming Home" rapper also said the verse sounded like an ambitious thought and that he knows Lamar isn't murdering him on any platform.

"When that day present itself, I guess we can revisit the topic," Drake said.

Kendrick already said he was just having fun with the verse. He may not have been trying to cause conflict but that's how some rappers took it. We need more rappers with substance instead of the life of the party and the DTF songs but pleasing the fans is what's on some of these artists minds. They trying to make money!
